Rachel DiPaolo, Vice President, Program Development
As Vice President of Program Development for Health and Wellness Education Partners, Rachel facilitates the development of educational programs in conjunction with accredited institutions. Working with esteemed faculty and continuing education providers, her primary focus is to develop and secure grants for continuing education programs in the United States and worldwide. She is a member of the Alliance for CME.
Rachel meets her challenges with the help of an extraordinary background. She has served as executive assistant to the president of one of Japan’s top cosmetics companies. Following a 1-month training experience in Japan, Rachel’s main responsibility was the planning and implementation of incentive trips for top sales representatives from Japan. She also served as convention manager at a large medical device manufacturer, where she oversaw the design, coordination, and onsite management of exhibits at medical association meetings nationwide; managed nationwide endoscopy training workshops; and developed and implemented special events.
Rachel then transitioned to medical education, where she used her organizational skills and knowledge of educational program development to successfully manage a variety of educational programs, including association satellite symposia, continuing education symposia, video-satellite symposia, slide-lecture kits, patient education programs, disease management programs, consumer outreach programs, newsletters, clinical monographs, videotapes, CD-ROMs, and Web-based programs.
Rachel's current focus is facilitating the development of needs assessments and grant proposals in collaboration with faculty and academic institutions, for continuing education programs and unbranded patient and public health initiatives.
